Cheers mate, much appreciated! Only went a handful of times in the 90's as I was still a kid, and that was only if I nagged my Dad enough to take me over there!

@@SWT442 Thanks Andy, I'll dig some rolling stock out and perhaps we can give some of it a test behind your locos !

I like the sound of that! Though I'd probably need a layout twice the size to accommodate all your stock!

@@SWT442 Some of the stuff I've done over the winter such as the LPG's, SITT, Cable Train, Balfour Beatty Drain Train and HOBC set could all do with a spin. The Railvac and Harsco Grinder are unpowered but I am sure would look OK being dragged behind something !

Lovely layout. How do you cope with being in the loft, variations of heat, moisture, etc?
@SWT4428 ай бұрын
Thank you! It's not been too bad so far. Most of the track runs have gaps that have been cut to give enough space for expansion, without creating too big of a gap when it contracts. The temperature variations haven't been too excessive either way, and I'm hoping that some additional insulation and making the windows openable will help in keeping a more stable temperature through the year. Not noted any moisture issues, it's never felt particularly damp up there. I did have some slipped tiles when I moved in, so the roof was given some TLC to ensure no issues with water ingress and some gaps around the Dormer windows were addressed.
