My T486 fills the room in a way no Gibson/Heritage EVER could. Love it. The SB59GT is decent...but the T486 is magic. For $1100 a couple years ago I got a true keeper....in lefty no less.

Very nice playing and stellar tone! How would you compare this guitar to your PRS? I am on the fence because I have a higher end PRS that I like but I tend to play just vintage stuff (jazz, blues, funk), so a vintage style guitar would suit me better (maybe)

Thanks man! the prs is a very versatile guitar, especially if you have spleat humbuckers to single coil:).this guitar is a top model of 335, excellent for jazz, blues, soul, funk, and others.. but it is certainly less versatile than a prs.. in any case having a semi-acoustic body with different timbres on recording also using microphones on the body .

@@MrBerardus thank you for your answer :). I actually have a PRS S2 Custom 24 with Lollar Imperials. I even don´t use the split option. The craftmanship of the S2 is just better than almost every guitar I ever played. the neck is smooth as nothing else and I guess higher end PRS are the same. So I am thinking about upgrading to a PRS CE22 or an Eastman T486/T59. Would you say craftmanship and playability is on par?

@@MrBerardus i have to add that it is a plain black PRS CE22, so the Eastmans look much nicer :D
