Just listening to this again. Matt is a natural on baritone, it is his best instrument. Probably plays Baritone better than anyone else.

Our school uses Eastman valved brass, and the valves are constant issues: sticking, grinding, wearing down of PLASTIC components. I'm steering clear in the future.

It might be from the abuse they've taken at school. I've played an Eastman tuba for years with not a single valve issue. They feel and work great.
