In kagrenzel there is a large drop into the dungeon which is in fact the longest non-lethal fall in the entire game. It also includes a really annoying beeping noise

Kagrenzel also connects to Stony Creek Cave. In Kagrenzel's caves there is Falmer. Any quests related relating to Kagrenzel will point the player's map marker to Stony Creek Cave and this applies to the Clairvoyance spell as well.

My theory for the Nordic Ruins Necromancer Altar is that they used the Ritual Stone power to summon all the Dragr but there was so much Dragr in the walls and floor that they started to make the ruins pillars fall and the other 2 Necromancers escaped but the Novice Conjurer wasn't so lucky. So they've been trying to discover a spell that can revive their friend forever. Also the one about the Dwemer ruins that's so high up in the mountains is that when Ysgramor led the the first companions or Skyrim they were creating a new palace to hide from the humans because they thought the humans were gonna kill them, but the Dwemer were starting to die because when they tried to get off the mountain and get food from, hunting, or buying, they would fall to their death, so they lit the massive brazier to let other Dwemer know that they needed help, but it was so high up no one could see the brazier, so the Dwemer in those ruins died off.

Imagine this... three great friends have been together... well, as long as they can remember. They've done everything together. They lived in Hjallmarch together, applied for the Mage's Guild together, applied for the College of Winterhold together, and tried to find any shred of magic they could together. So when these three novice conjurers heard of a stone that would allow them to do magic,they leaped at the idea. They set out in search of stone, becoming even closer as they were about to become master conjurer. And when they finally came across the stone and felt the raw energy course through their veins, they knew they had to test it out. So they set back home, feeling the need to return to their roots to test this power out. So when they came across a stony ledge, they stopped to let loose their power. But suddenly, out of the ground, draugr came rushing forth, tearing at the conjurers. One stepped forward, thinking that if they had the power to bring them forth, they would have the power to banish them. But the power evaded him, and the draugr tore him apart. Seeing his friend die, another grabbed a great sword and started swinging wildly in a frenzy, while the other simply went at them with his fists. After they killed the last of the draugr, they made a pact that until they were reunited with their friend, they would do everything to reunite him with them. And so the two necromancers were killed before they could find away to bring their friend back. Or they just murdered him in cold blood.

If you attempt to "Join" the "Hot-Spring Hunters", They will give you the "Mind covering your unmentionables?" lectures the same way as other NPC's... This has been an interesting CCC...

Hi Camel I'm new to your channel and recently subscribed. I'm enjoying this series along with the detective series. It's a big shame that you're a Stormcloak though since Ulfric is a thalmor sleeper agent and if the combined forces of the imperials, bretons, nords, and redguards couldn't stop the dominion then there is no way a single Stormcloak controlled Skyrim will be able to fend them off alone once Cyrodiil has fallen.

You don't need to hop the mountains to get to Kagrenzel, by the way. Walk through the trees to the left of the Ansilvund entrance, and there's a path that takes you right there.

The book at the one by elderglem sanctuary gives one very likely explenation. At leaest it's likely to me that some one tried to deal with magic they did not know anything about which turned up in maybe sending them into oblivion. Personally something closer to what the book described sounds more interesting

Mhmm, bro! If you ever do a Curating Curious Curiosities on Winterhold, there is a giant Mudcrab in the sea southeast of Winterhold. It has quadruple the health and size of a normal mudcrab and does also more damage. Rekt me, the first time I came to close to it (playing an argonian, so breathing under water is not an issue).
