That thing is awesome. If I had one of those horizontal splitters there in NO way I wouldn’t have a box wedge. It makes perfect pieces. Pretty labor friendly too!

Great video of making nice splits through that box wedge. Nice pile you got there! Nice ending view!

Man that’s a nice splitter Harry! I would say that the box wedge is a no brainer on good straight grained wood. Splitting curvy limb wood/ crotches would probably not be as efficient and produce some waste! Going to be great for your bundle wood!!👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Harry - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. That box wedge is an impressive performer but just like the full blown processors it needs a consistent type of raw material to maintain max efficiency. The box wedge would not be optimum for me with my usual Tree Service Co output that I have to be content with but it's nice to see machinery working well within its design brief.

Yes, it's impressive with how fast it is. I'm ordering a tall 4 way for it. I will sort the rounds as they come out of the woods to be more efficient. Thanks for watching Harry P

Nice splitting Harry. That machine will eat through a cord of wood fast!! How much waste/kindling do you think it produces compared to the 6 way wedge?

It would be nice to have a box wedge that cut smaller pieces for bundling..
