Eastport and the Bexley Trail Updates

I traveled on my bike from the Lake Denham Postal Center up the Meggison Rd. bike path turned left on Bexley Trail. I went over the Bexley Bridge (Southern Oaks Bridge) through four tunnels to Eastport. On another day I flew my drone over Eastport to check on the progress.

I love the views & info in your videos. I was in TV for a week lifestyle in September, staying near Franklin rec. I quickly realized getting to Sumter landing or Spanish springs is way to far by golf cart. (And that I had to drive my rental car). I’d loved to how long a ride it is by golf cart from the new Eastport areas to each of the squares, regional rec centers, & country clubs. I’d be disappointed if I buy a new home that is too far by golf cart to easily get to the activities I want to do. Tom

You can use Google Maps to get an estimate. For example, if you stayed on Meggison Rd. from the Franklin Rec Center to Brownwood it's 8.0 miles. Assume 12-13 mph for a golf cart miles which includes stops, it would take about 38 minutes more or less.

Was the prson on the other side of 501? I saw a guard tower.

I don't know what you saw but Coleman Prison is on the west side of Rt. 501. You can check Google Maps.

That's what I thought@@MarioNappa. It's hard to tell where some of these neighborhoods will be in relation to things like that. I wonder if you can hear noise from the prison?

They are going to have to rename the Villages....maybe North, Central, and South Villages. Just saying the Villages is not enough anymore since North to far South covers something like 15+ miles.
