Eastvale -- Residential (WM)

Waste Management of the Inland Empire services the City of Eastvale with a wide variety of garbage trucks. They have some of the most professional and friendly WM drivers I've ever met, so Kevin and I ended up making two trips out here to see what we could find.
(0:00) - 263529: A couple months ago, on September 10, Kevin and I found ourselves in Eastvale after finishing up in Chino. I found out the day before that one of Corona's remaining ex-LA Hauling Wittkes was working out here, so after driving around for quite a while, we finally spotted this truck way off in the distance heading to a neighborhood. After almost losing it at a red light, we took a few lucky turns and caught up to it. The driver, Jaime, was super nice, and I don't think I've enjoyed filming a Curotto Can as much as this truck. Talk about skills! He flew through this neighborhood. We followed for about half an hour, and I only ended up being able to get a little less than 8 minutes of footage. He packed out at the end, so that was all I was able to get. His arm cycles were the quickest I've seen in a long time. I really like how this truck sounds, and the green Curotto Can sure looks great. WM recently repainted the cab too, so I hope they'll be keeping this around for a long time.
(7:46) - 103739: When I got the routes for Eastvale, I also found out that there was a Python scheduled to be running here as well. So after Jaime packed out, we went looking for Alex. Unfortunately, the Python was down for the day and this is what Alex had instead. Not too bad honestly, one of the fastest Amreps out there and I dig those rims.
(8:27) - 264494: On Veterans Day, Kevin and I went back to Eastvale to look for either Jaime or Alex. We found this truck and we both were definitely impressed by how it operated. Got all the best moves of a Curotto Can, from the lid flipping to slamming to revving. Salvador was super cool too and has seen my videos of Javier before, so I'm glad we got to feature him on here as well. It was awesome to see one of the McNeilus FLs operate quickly. The ones in Baldwin Park (that came from here originally) are constantly breaking down.
(13:24) - 102853: We drove all over the Friday route finding scattered bits of collected green waste carts. Honestly the craziest time finding a truck with all the different sections we went through. But finally, we found Alex in his normal truck, this awesome Python. This truck has been all over SoCal, originating from Moreno Valley then finding its way to El Cajon, Compton, Chino, and now, Corona. Looks like the arm was replaced recently too, so it isn't as violent as 80 in MoVal. But I'm glad it still lid flips! And man talk about horrible grip! Those 64s came so close to falling into the hopper.
(15:38) - 263909: Not sure what this guy was doing in this neighborhood...we lost Alex for a minute then followed this guy and he just so happened to pass right by Alex again so that was good for us. He collected one container then left the neighborhood so I guess it might have been an MPU.
(19:00) - 263906: Here's one of the other recycle trucks in the city.
(19:04) - 103384: Here's one of the trucks that collects garbage. The other two are 103855, a 2012 Peterbilt 320 Amrep, and one of the few ZRs that Corona has.
(19:07) - 262906: Here is literally the oldest Mack LE Wittke that WM owns in Southern California. It is a first generation Wittke that has had parts of its hopper wall cut out, which makes it look really tall when the carry can isn't in the hopper. It also has a Breathe Easy sticker on it which is SUPER cool in my opinion. It does bulk throughout Corona and Eastvale. (19:15) - 742066: Here is Corona's container truck. It was originally from Moreno Valley.
I would like to give a huge thank you to all the awesome WM drivers we met in Eastvale for their service and letting us film! Another big thanks to Damien in Dispatch for his help with routes! I have really been looking forward to this video and it certainly did not disappoint. The LE looks great and Jaime sure has one fast dump cycle, both picking up carts and dumping the Curotto in the hopper. That clip from Salvador at 10:38 is one of the best, where Salvador pivots the Curotto around the car to pick up a cart. That was neat how Salvador knew us from Javiers video. I'm glad we found the Python on our second trip, Alex did a great job operating it and I'm glad Waste Management fixed the arm. That was interesting how the grippers were so loose but it seems like it gives the carts a better dumping angle into the hopper. That was a fun trip and I'm glad we found all the trucks we wanted to find in Eastvale.

Nice video Aaron! This area really takes pride in being clean lol. I really loved watching 263529 I love how his curotto flips lids. That McNelius was very entertaining to watch and he revved it a little too. A good amount of toters in this area too like the one at 10:40. That Heil Python was very interesting, The lag of the arm and how loose it was very interestin. Great job bro!

Those Curottos are fun trucks!! I'm not usually a big curotto fan, but these were really fun trucks. The python was cool too, reminds me of the identical trucks we used to have other than the CNG lol. Really cool to see all the Ottos in the area, they look really nice in WM colors. Thanks for the upload, really enjoyed this one.

Haha Kevin has really made me enjoy Curottos 10x more than before, but I've always been a huge fan of them personally! Crazy how the WM yards by you don't have those Pythons anymore, I doubt they are any newer than 07s?? No problem! Glad you enjoyed!

Yeah, the WXs were 07s I think. I just went through some old pictures and found the number of the one that collected on my route for a while, 102953. So 100 units newer than this truck actually haha

Nice video Aaron! 263529 was really nice to watch, it was so fast lol. 103739 was cool as well, really love how a lot of WM ellipticals have those standard grippers (Octo) instead of Elliptical grippers! 264494 was nice to watch, that heavy recycling was entertaining. 102853 was so slow lol but watching the arm barely move was funny. If you ever run into 263909 again please film it lol, it sounded really nice and looked really cool! Tjat container truck lloke cool too. Great job Aaron!

Great video! I really liked the Mcneilus Autocar. Had a nice rev to it. The Mack FEL was interesting. The python had a very loose grip on those carts. It looks like it. needs some TLC .Great video as always. Just earned another sub!

Thanks man, that Python was pretty crazy to see with how loose its grippers were. Pythons are just not very good trucks in my opinion lol

Awesome video Aaron! I really enjoyed it! The Mack LE Wittke was awesome, I have yet to film a Mack LE or a Wittke Curroto can. The ACX Amrep was fast. That WXLL McNeilus sounded a lot like my Pete McNeilus's. The Python was entertaining, I didn't have the best grip in carts. Awesome video again!

Thanks Daniel, Mack LEs are my favorite trucks so I try to find them quite often. It seems like most LNG trucks from that area (06-09) all sound the same, so definitely agree that they sound similar to the Petes.

Great video Aaron! Awesome collection of trucks in here! Really gotta say I enjoyed each and everyone of them. 263529 sounded very good and I like how the driver gave it a few revs too, the green Curotto can looks good with this truck too. Very interesting to see an new WMX Rehrig in there too, any idea how old it was? The WXLL had a nice sound to it, sounds a lot like Sun Valley's Mcneilus FLs. That WXLL was also very eye catching. That Heil Python has to be my favorite truck in this compilation because IMO I find these Pythons rare in SoCal, and that Python was awesome, I always like to just stare at the arm and watch how it functions but wow that truck has such bad grip lol. Loved the cart variety in here, great video!

Thank you! Pretty sure that WMX Rehrig is late 90s so I'm surprised they still roll them out. HAHA I thought the exact same thing about the McNeilus, reminded me so much of Sun Valley. Oh man I'm so glad to finally get a decent amount of footage of a WM Python! Thanks brotha!

Great truck varierty, great cart variety, great drivers, great video, what more could you ask for! Love the Python! I'm surprised that the belt are that loose. Seems like they would loose a lot of the 64s, but Fresno's are that loose too. They are constantly hoppering 64 and 96 gallon carts. If your cart is heavy, you can kiss it goodbye which is what happened to my gray 64 gallon LDD Toter. The belts also get in between the wheels and rip them off the carts. Not the best trucks but they are very entertaining to watch.

Really is a fun city to film in with everything being so great! Just wish there was a Mack LE Amrep here haha! Wow that's crazy to hear! Any chance you could grab a clip of the Pythons by you? I'd love to see how they operate.

WMmaster626 The Friday route has a good layout for filming. I will try to go out Saturday to get some videos of the Pythons and the BBD Amrep if it's running.

WMmaster626 It's either a BBD or a GI Volvo Amrep. I haven't been able to get a picture yet but I think it replaced the OC Amrep. And that's great to hear!! I think it may be for Selma though and not county unfortunately =(

First truck here is definitely my favorite. Favorite style of Wittke body, old square Curotto and it's just a fun truck to watch. Found myself craving more of that one. Any idea if Corona still has that OG Curotto? Great job putting this one together. Makes me want to check out some of Corona's speedy Curotto's myself.

Thanks bro! Corona has some great Curotto drivers. I don't think they have an OGs left but I might (and hopefully) be wrong. They stuck a BUNCH of old Curottos onto some of the McNeilus FLs though so maybe one of those has an OG. Kevin and I are planning a trip to Corona/MoVal in the near future so I'll let you know when that happens. I think you'll like how they run their trucks haha

2nd time KZbin has erased my comment now UUUGGGGHHHH... I'll make it short.... Cart variety in this area was really strange... looks like 3 different rollouts have been through! Was that a NEW WMX can at 2:45?! First LE FL sounded fantastic like all the other LE Wittkes WM has. 24494 was probably my favorite oddly enough! Really unique noise and didn't sound at all like an Autocar. The Python was great too - certainly a nice break from all the Amreps and Curottos that are everywhere down here. If I was blind, I would have thought the truck at 15:38 was a GI! The hum and growl made it feel that way. Wish you wouldve got footage of 262906! Do you know what the oldest LE ASL is in SoCal? Awesome video, really liked how the footage came out. Oh, and nice ghetto attempt at a container truck at the end ;).

Haha appreciate you still writing one, always enjoy a good length comment. I thought the same thing about the carts, got all sorts of colors there. In other parts of the city, they have blue Zarns and Toters. And yup! That was a new WMX Rehrig. I'll text you a picture just to show you how many brand new WMX Rehrigs are still around in some yards. Wow...an Autocar bested a Mack?! That's a first for you :P But yeah in all seriousness, that was one terrific Autocar with a great driver behind the wheel so I understand why. I see what you mean about the truck at 15:38! Haha definitely agree there. Oh man I really want to find 262906 again, we saw him a couple times that day but there just weren't any stops to film! Off the top of my head, the oldest is either gonna be one at GI, El Cajon or Lancaster Hauling.Agree with the container truck lol Thank you!

There’s no truck that can compare to a scorpion. Superior packing and controls. Best in the business. We just got some new amreps and they’re junk in my opinion. Scorpions are king of the asl.
