Well how much is this lazy four string guitar? Judging by the finish and body it's probably over a thousand dollars. I'd rather have a 6 string for that price. Just my opinion. RJ you can play the guitar awesome, not taking away from your playing.

You can still get a vintage gibson under 2k, like from the 40s. These were all that before the 6 string jazz box took off

It doesn't seem worth it to me. All that construction, material, quality, just for four strings, and not bassy strings either. Even guitars in the 1700s had an A string.

I mean, Tenor guitars have their place. They were rather popular in the early 1910s up to the 40s. They were meant to get other instrumentalists an easy way into guitar. Mainly banjo players or extreme beginners.
