I’m buying this guitar because you made it cool. Thank you!

She hit the bridge pickup and we both said "bright" at the exact same time. Crazy. We also both used "jangle/jangly" when talking about the tone within a few seconds of each other. (Yes, I talk to the screen.) BTW, I play a "5 Ellens" guitar. The Fender Players Mustang has definitely been a great addition to my arsenal. Now if I could play one or two percent as well as Ellen...

Why aren't you the most popular guitarist on KZbin?

Ellen says she’s like a rectangle. Ever since then I’ve had a greater appreciation for rectangles.

Hey! I just acquired the blue bass version of that Guild Maverick amplifier behind you. It's a keeper.

That guitar is awesome and your playing is fantastic, I was thinking 5 Ellen's for sure. Curveball at the end.

Haha it was a curveball for Ellen too!

Is there somewhere to see more of her playing? A band page or something?

Ellen plays guitar with the country artist Cam! She also occasionally records her own music under the name Uncle Ellen.

Guitar looks good, not so sure about the bridge pickup but neck was toneful. The top sadly was no good to me, I'm a 6ft tall 15 stone pensioner.

Eastwood’s demo sounded good in all positions, but they were probably putting the tone control to good use. What bugged me about this one was that when Ellen switched to the bridge pickup in overdrive, there was a pronounced 60-cycle hum. The Valco lap steel pickups should be humbucking (actually one of the earliest hum-canceling pickups dating back to the ‘40s). I wonder if someone reversed one of the magnets when they took it apart, or else if there is some bad shielding. In any case, the Lace Aluma 90 pickup in my Supro Ozark reissue sounds better than that knockoff Valco pickup, nails that lap steel tone and sustain, and is noise-free. I encourage anybody who’s trying to get that Coodercaster lap steel pickup tone without the hassle of string-through pickups to try to get their hands on one of those Ozarks, which are were only made on a limited basis, and there won’t be any more since Supro killed their whole guitar line.

The Teri Jon to kind of matches the tortoise shell pickguard on the guitar, except for the color.

That was pretty sick. If Ellen gets herself a big hair wig, wears that vest, and uses that guitar, she can do some serious 80's big hair band jams! Maybe leave the screwdriver at home! LOL. 👍

I am less of a tinkerer and more of a warranty voider so I especially enjoyed this as validation. I like this guitar though. I am hyprocritically agreeing regarding treble bleeds, so good in theory and so useless in practice. Nearly all my guitars have treble bleeds.

If you jack up the action a mile high put a long drive socket on your pinky and play slide, I think we could get that last Ellen! Hide the screwdrivers!!!
