i haven't been able to watch the stream in a couple months, but it really seems like your mental game has gotten really good. you're much more even-keeled than i remember from what i saw in the 10NL challenge, and you seem to be processing and learning from your mistakes as you make them rather than going through the five stages of grief first. to me, the most striking thing about the last hand of the video isn't the mistake -- whom among us has not shoved way too thin deepstacked with an overpair? -- but rather the way you calmly worked through your emotions in real time and worked to integrate what you had learned from the mistake immediately. it seemed to me that bena was ready for you to blow up about it and wanted to handle you with kid gloves a bit, and you made it very clear that you were equipped to speak frankly about it in the moment. i'm super impressed and a little bit jealous

I've definitely improved, but honestly I only really tilt at 10nl lmao. Thanks as always lad.

For me, it was something about playing stakes under 25nl that really made me angry. It was like the players could only win by sucking out on me or coolering me, and rarely if ever out playing me. Then, when I had value, they would fold unless I got to cooler them, which was the most frustrating part, because I would grind for like 30 min to 1 hour, build up a decent stack, then get set over set, and have to start over nickel and diming the players to death.

JJ and TT block your bluffs so he's very likely to fold those. You get called by 98s but not many combos of those. Too thin but given its 50NL wouldnt say punt. I actually think the AKo stack off was more of a punt just a smaller pot.

QQ there is a check/fold on turn/river most of the time. Sure, he might have a straightflush-draw once in a blue moon but mostly he has you crushed. 3bet-call pre limits his range enough to know that he has 77-JJ, higher SCs and while he sometimes can slow Aces or Kings here, it doesn't happen often enough. When you say that you have "no idea", just let hands like Aces, kings, AKs etc of your mind. If he would've shown KK or AA when you pushed, its not frequent enough for it to hurt your EV. In this case i had him pinned between 77-JJ and maaaybe 98s, 109s, but when he called on the turn i was like, "Please dont push" when it got to the river. You are almost never ahead here. No way he calls a flushdraw, even the nutflushdraw on the turn or a straightdraw when your that deep. His range was really narrow in this case. Congrats on cashing! Quite an achievement!!

Oh my god. What do you think his range is when he calls a flop raise, and the 80BB turn bet? Do you think he's going to hero a 200BB shove with jacks or tens? Do you think, when you get called on this river, he is going to show up with exactly those two hands *most of the time?* If not, then you cannot value bet. And, since you don't need to bluff, and you extracted maximum value from those hands on the turn anyway, you can check. A lot of the time he's sitting on the nuts after calling 80 and just hoping you continue to blast off with whatever. Many players will just not continue with JJ or worse against an 80BB turn bet. It would depend on your stats and my suits, but I would be leaning towards folding them in his spot. Fuck, some players in this squeezed 3-bet pot will bet-fold JJ to the flop raise alone, and that sounds nitty, but it isn't crazy. Because how many players are raising air in position *too much* such that you *need* to continue with JJ and TT, otherwise you're making a mistake? If you're merely balanced and starting to stuff it in with KTs or some shit at the correct frequency, then he can fold because his continue is zero EV. You have to be raising more air than that against an uncapped squeezing range with all this money behind. It's not realistic unless he has stats on you saying that you're an aggro-tard.
