Great farm, I have been using this for a few years now, I love the compact version and the simple dispenser system. I would add additional layers next to it to increase rates if you wanted. This one is safer to build, try falling off the 21x21 version in survival. One other change I’ve made is using powdered snow in a bucket instead of water (lag issues on a server) Water is much easier to find but keep in mind. Make sure fire spread is turned on or you would have to use a separate dispenser with flint/steel and have to replace constantly. Instead of the lava. Thanks Oink

This specific design is just a more compact version to previous design functioning on the exact same premise for lighting the lava and water. Oink does have a slightly smaller lava setup than the one I used from JC Playz great design . I should have clarified that in my first line, the farm is OP so the smaller design is welcoming.

Recommend building entire portal facing north and south and the continue with farm, also put a slab down to make a small gap so nothing can squeeze through, maybe make additional hoppers and chest for extra space, went from level 9 to 24 in 15 min after everything was set up correctly

OK farm. Works as advetosed. This gold farm takes a lot of caring and feeding to produce several stacks of gold ingots. Everything about it is manual, but it does work well.

I play both and Java mob farms are 1000% better. That being said, I play bedrock now though cause it was plug in play to use my Xbox controller on bedrock while I would have had to go in to steam some how to activate my controller to use on Java. They both have their pros and cons. Good day

​@Ryan Quigley i think what he means is that the portal links up to a biome in the nether where piglins dont spawn. To tell just go thru the portal. Also in the overworld, if you build your portal facing east or west, the piglins will always spawn on the east facing side. I just built it, skipped the test and just assumed theyd spawn east and they do. Another comment on here is how i knew that

@@hybridcraft3077 What's weird is I put it at level 230 and it stopped working. Maybe my spawn radius is off? I have them landing on water at level 77, with pistons, observers, and a trident (the water block is at the same place where you throw the trident in). There's another guy on the same server I'm on, where his 22 x 22 portal is somewhere near the same level as mine is at (somewhere around level 200-ish), and his works great, even though the killing area for his is only at maybe level 50 or something. Is there a certain level range where this all will work, where if it's outside that level range, then it won't?

Make sure your fire spread is enabled. And observers has to be facing each other to update the flowing lava to light it. If doesn't work then i don't know

What you have to do is make sure the portal in build North-south, the pigment will always spawn on the east side(the direction the sun rises in). Just build it and they will start to spawn that's what worked for me.
