it's really just what someone feels comfortable using, some people think liquid liner is far too difficult, while i only use liquid. gel isn't bad at all! i used to use gel, i still use stila smudge pots all the time! i recommend looking a some of pixi2woo's videos, she has a drugstore dupe for the bobbi brown gel liner, try it out so you can see what all the hoopla's about! hope i helped!

I would say that one of the advantages is that is very moveable (as opposed to a pencil sometimes) and blendable (as opposed to liquid eyeliners). plus you can chosse with which tool you want to aplly it (angled brush, fine liner brush,...). ever since I first tried a gel eyeliner I haven't used anything else. hope this helps!

Benefits are saturation of color, ease of use with a good brush, water proof, won't smudge once it sets, and it lasts in the waterline. I think it lasts in the waterline better than anything else. The one I use is Bobbi Brown or tarte, but they arent approved for the waterline, I dont think. There are newer versions from other brands that are approved for the waterline.

Your under eye concealer always looks awesome. Every time I use concealer, I think it makes the circles under my eyes more visible and I end up with settling into fine lines. What am I doing wrong? :(

generally, it's any combination of cream/liquid b4 powder (eg. using a powder foundation + cream concealer = concealer first, powder second). But it's not unheard of to use liquid/cream products after powder. It's basically up to the user.

That's why she wrote, "Make-Up INSPIRED by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge" and not, "Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's, Make-up." There is a difference. When you're inspired by a look, you are allowed to change the things you find distasteful or something you find isn't flattering to make it more flattering for you.

Nic (or anyone else!), could you explain to me what are the advantages with a gel eyeliner? because everytime i see anyone using it, it seems more difficult than a felt tip pen like you are using on this video. i only use pen or fine brush eyeliner because im afraid to buy a gel eyeliner+brush and than get disappointed and don't know how to work it. tnx!!!
