Totally weird question: but given your knowledge of this period 1940-1970. I am writing a time travel novel, one character is half Ethiopian (her Iraqi parent had 3C hair, her Ethiopian parent 4C) now as a time traveller she goes through some disgusting situations: how would you cleanse & condition your hair using only ingredients available in the 1950s? Especially if you got dysentery feces in your hair? (The time travelling Ethiopian is an OBGYN)
