Regarding the fleet thing; you can be in a fleet with yourself, right? I do that all the time with the abyssal filaments.

Cool so it can be a mobile base. What happens to it if I log out whilst in it?

@@TableandChums If you "safe log" any ship while in space, the ship will disappear. Then, when you log back in, the ship will warp back to that spot from a random location. But, most of what it can do, you can do with a mobile depot and containers anchored in space. Cuz really, you just need the ability to refit and store some stuff like modules, ammo, and loot. Possibly other ships too.

To make a fleet with your self? Right click on your self and form fleet. Super easy but also a weird thing to need to do.

If you want to be in space with no one around or be far from anything make a BM during warp then warp back to that BM.

Yes but not if you're cloaked,this is what we call making a safe spot. Or you can do the same on gates or structures this is called a perch, your far enough away from anything to attack you but you can still assess the situation. I lived in J-Space for 9 years had the best time in EVE.

Also handy little tip while navigating low and null, never warp onto a gate from a gate that's how gate campers can get you. Rather warp to gates from asteroids fields or planets that way you will not be caught by their bubble "strategically placed."

@@TableandChums Typically people use Pochven filaments, one "In" to Poch and one back to normal space, ie: A Gloriana and an Exit

@@TableandChums Mate 200mil wont even buy you a T2 fit HAC or BS which are baseline doctrines in null blocs which have up to 50 thousand players, a large portion of which are new to the game. Thats pocket change for 95% of the player base.
