Happy “2024.” Our New Year doesn’t begin until February 10, (Chinese New Year) It will be the year of the “Dragon” a good sign. Mom was born on the year of the “Dragon.” When we were kids we used to say: “Dragon Lady is coming with a “BIG” stick run for your life.” 😂 She passed away this Spring . (She was 94) Hope you will have a fabulous “2024” year. Take Care and be Safe.

@ I enjoy it. You see, I study graphic design while in College and at SF City College they had a two years fine art program. The wash out rate was 90-95% that you will not complete the program. They want you to be serious about becoming an fine artist. After all you will be representing their teaching method once you completed their art program. We started out with 143 student in the beginning of the program after the two years has ended there was only one that was able to completed their program. Whew! 😰 From there I was able to be excepted to a major University as a fine art, painter, specializing in Surrealist. (Reality check, there is no money in becoming an fine artist painter, giving the work and time you put into your painting. You will probably be recognize as a gifted artist after you are gone from this world. The art dealer will be making money off of you your demise. and you can’t buy art supplies once you’re six feet under. That was why I decided to go back to college to become a graphic designer. Now, that I am finally retired I can start painting for my own amusement and not worry about money and it help to be married a very rich wife. “Just kidding!” 🤣 I paint for my own pleasure, no body else. What I paint is my own thought and ideas. I’m an individual thinker I don’t do group thinking. Life is good, I can appreciate and enjoy peoples work that because I understand the thinking process and how they got there. So, when I say I appreciate your design I mean because I can see the process of how you achieve your drawing. I also took three years of drafting or what they used to call: “Mechanical Drawing” while I was in high school. So, I fully understand perspective and drafting technique. You have already mastered the technique of taking an two dimension drawing and making it into a three dimension illusion. That takes skill and you have it. Take Care and continue on, I will be looking forward to your next drawing 👍and have a “Happy Year!” 🎉🥂 By the way, one of my favorite artists is M.C. Escher.
