Your a gem Kim, I predict a flood of Techs creating their own Bubble Roses now. You are without a doubt the VERY BEST "HOW TOO" TECH out there. I learnt how too stamp the "sophisticated " way from you many years ago and I still refer people to your tutorials when they are struggling with stamping. They not only learn the technique but they learn head up their game and make it interesting and they all love your tutorials as does everyone else. Just phenomenal! My mother had this half-ball, glass paperweight, that encapsulated a full-blown rose, some babies breath a few fern fronds. Many years later, unfortunately, it had fallen and broken and - much to both mine and my mother's surprise, the inner contents were made of thin bits of glass, too, "painted on" in much the same way as these bubble roses. Extraordinary!

Now I know what I’ve been doing wrong thanks to your video. I’ve been making these since I saw Larisa Ilena make them last week, but they were done in Russian. Like you, I painted each petal higher than the last & you don’t get the real effect. You are a lifesaver! Thank you for explaining it so now I can play & make amazing “candyballs” as she calls them.

Yay! I'm so happy to hear it was helpful! The first pic I saw of these was by Tatiana Ahatova...since I couldn't find a video I had to experiment with how to get the effect, I figured it was a layering technique like with glass blowing.

This is so beautiful!!! I made myself a huge 4d flower the usual acrylic way and almost ripped my nail off when I got it caught. This would mean big flowers and no risk!! Woihoooo!!!

A suggestion I tried and worked was adding some UNT peel off base on my tool. The tip where the gel will go and it popped right off. I didn't have to pry it off..LOL
