YOUR work is out of this world, It looks so easy, but it is really difficult for a self taught amatuer... I shall persevere.....I have always done mixed media and bold work, so I really battle with being so feint and light handed, great experience, fun to try and change thanksxxxxx

The paintings I've done that I've overworked never turn out well learning to stop has been a very hard lesson to learn and a very good lesson

Yes, knowing when to stop is tricky. I find standing helps as you get a better view point of what’s really happening and you can access as you work.

Your painting process is an organic discovery that I love to watch. I try to release the organic beast within me when painting but the confines of her cage tend to keep things tight and scared. You are an inspiration to keep going....

Time to upgrade to a larger cage! Fear will impede the flow, allow yourself to make a hot mess and some ugly art, it’s part of learning. Worse case scenario you have a huge art showing at your city landfill…😂 I’ve got a huge showing at mine 😜

I love this pair of roses. It is so freeing to see two of something! I always feel obligated to stick to odd numbers; as a beginner I many times feel stifled by always being on the look out for even numbers. Thanks for reminding us that loose painting lends itself to the beauty of spontaneity-be it even or odd.

@debralynrosenbachart Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I love things that are not perfect. I’m a strong believer in finding beauty in something that perfectly imperfect. I actually love the splashes, its my whole aesthetic. Im not sure what wasn’t spread out? I don’t follow a traditional formula for painting, maybe thats what’s not sitting right when you see my work. I fully understand my style is not for everyone.
