Since the Episode 22 update, chaos arena entries are only sold by the dungeon entry NPC, at about 20 times higher price than at the moment I created this video. So if you'd like to make sure of this method make sure you consider that first! I have finished nearly 3000 runs of CA6 so far, and the best drop was critical ring +2 :) But still, every single run was profitable, and it was a good way to develop my character while creating new videos, studying, cleaning my room, etc...

just came back from playing cabal and i tend to have difficulties with the WI due to its def. even at 2k evasion with the earring of guard +9 my char is still paper when i go to IC or RH solo. i use dual amp archridum outra set and cri/amp helm but still had difficulties in CA3.

That is why I actively discourage everyone from judging people based on their "attack ability" and "defense ability" stats. Evasion is a typical example of something that greatly increases it. And while evasion can be a very powerful stat, its effect is only visible at very high values (above 4k, maybe even 5k). That is basically impossible to reach as wizard, unless you use armor with evasion craft and slots, but then you might as well delete your character because it won't be worth anything :) I'd strongly suggest that you replace your earrings of guard with vampiric earrings, and obtain enough HP steal (% value) to cover your HP steal limit (point value). You'll see, recovering +100 HP every time you hit an enemy, multiplied by the number of enemies you're hitting will make tremendous difference in survival as long as you're attacking!

Ahoy! There is no way to do that unfortunately. They used to be dropped in abundance in all exp griding maps but several years ago developers removed it from the drop list and added it exclusively to NPC shop. Players are selling the keys that still remain from years ago.

None? :) Crafting is only worth it if you invest several billions into it (if not over a dozen). So I wouldn't recommend doing that... I have never crafted anything either.

Being an arena-type dungeon it's mostly about your damage reduction. But of course it's different for every class, and frankly I have no idea about values. Just give it a try and see for yourself!

Depends on your class. Either way you're going to need a ranged skill with area of effect damage. Target something near Tyrant, so that when you hit that something, Tyrant will be damaged too, then start moving. That's the key, moving after you agro it! If you don't move, then other monsters will surround you and Tyrant won't come out. You can move in circles if you can survive, but since I'm a WI made of paper, I just use fade step or blink to a short range behind me and start moving sideways. Of course this works less often than not, so you might have to repeat it a few times ;) Practice makes perfect!

After lvl 130 you'll get your third battle mode which has those 2 skills as the basic attacks + a 3rd called "fatal attack" you can use to activate so called synergies. I won't go into details, as I'm sure if you reach that level you'll figure it out in no time :)

Ahoy! Excellent videos even after several years. Im a returning player and was wondering what would be the current best place to farm items/cores to get more alz out of. Ive seen UCL tend to sell pretty fast and are dropped quite often in LiD and drop on CA1. Which would you consider to be the most profitable dungeon/CA to run and get a profit out of it? Im a lvl155 GL with average gear and can solo up to AoS1

Ahoy and welcome back to Cabal! Unfortunately this video is somewhat outdated, because an update a year or so after the video's publishing changed so that the entry items for chaos arenas are not dropped by mobs anymore. Now they are only buyable from the NPC shop in town, and they are far too overpriced for it to be worth farming, all grades. However, LiD isn't bad, and if you kill mobs they often drop 2 slot items that crafters can make use of so they buy them in abundance. Unfortunately though they are far from fast when it comes to selling. I've also noticed lately that it's really hard to get any profit out of dungeons and we have to wait for some decent event to have anything to farm. That isn't going on right now (in EU at least).

I'd say in your case it would be more about experience in the dungeon. Use ice blade + elemental enchant while you lure the boss out and kill it in 1vs1. That should work :) However it may take some practice to be able to do that.

No clue why you'd use BM3 in larger groups, but hey. You do you.

Judging by your profile, you're a FA which means BM3 for you might not be the optimal solution due to the reduction in your damage against multiple targets. For a WI, however, BM3 is certainly the best. Keep in mind that every monster in CA6 is immune to stun/down/knockback! Besides... killing the other things that BM3's AoE attracts simply gives me more AXP and a tiny bit of alz dropped too. I see no reason to use other BMs.

I completely agree. I don't know your set, but I'm guessing, since youre a mage, it's CDI-heavy, thus making BM2 the better dps output :p

The only advantage of BM2 in my case is the attack rate bonus, since WI has pretty low base attack rate, and Tyrant often blocks my attacks. But still I deal more damage in the same amount of time using BM3.

The whole concept of the video is to make alz while you're AFK. That stands for "away from keyboard", AKA you are not near your computer for 15 minutes. If you're actually playing then it's the worst thing you can think of. But if you're studying, working, cleaning your room, training, whatever........ it's good.

Ahoy! That sounds like a decent amount of defense but remember, that damage reduction and HP steal also play a vital role in that! I've never played warrior before but I think you can give it a try. Also you've got that awesome buff, Bear's vitality which increases your damage reduction by a huge amount. If all goes well when you activate that every mob around should be hitting you close to 1.

Well i must do this everyday... in NA a map part 2m alz... and you can do about maybe 1-1,2m alz from it... maybe 1.5 if the prices are good. It's worth a try, but I think lvl 2 or 3, or maybe even 4 would be the best because there you have a chance for cr+2, SEM/SEH, etc instead of SEL only. But I don't know, never tried actively farming any of them except for CA6 when I'm making videos or studying.

You can distinguish the boss from the rest easily because the boss has red name. In level 6 it's Leth Tyrant, In lvl 5 I think it's Balrog but I'm not sure.

Have you tried switching back to fire blade once you secured tyrant? Always use art of curse with fire blade and preferably when EE is ready too. Use the synergy for +15% crit rate at least once. I can't think of any other piece of advice other than getting better gear before trying again.

Thanks for reply. I have done this. Maybe should be helpful for other FB without imba gear lol. At 10:35 min, BM 3 + Ice Blade + Elemental Enchant and kill as much as possible mobs if needed extend with aura to clear it. At 6:15, BM 3 + Ice Blade + EE, with debuff to lure tyrant(without many mobs attacking you it's easier to kill tyrant) once i lure it, switch to fire blade, and always synergy +15% crit rate (ABAA) to increase as much dps with crit dmg. Then i use EX to unmovable tyrant while my BM3+Aura are charging the try again. If everything gone ok, you should have killed tyrant with next bm3+aura with 1 min left. Yesterday i tried it. In conclusion, being FB it's more use of strategy and mechanics to solo it. BTW: I'm going to buy sienna bra + pen + 2 % amp to increase dmg.

Good to hear you managed to solve it. Seeing 6:15 made me realize that I might have forgotten to mention that the faster you kill the gate after entering the dungeon, the sooner the boss spawns. For example I usually kill it with 2 hits of BM3 in the remaining time from the previous run, and that way the boss spawns at 6:30.
