My understanding is some pro controllers have faulty d-pads, with unintentional up inputs when pressing left or right. There are videos on youtube of it, don't have a link right now. Other videos show pro controllers with no problems. Sounds like EZA got a bad one, and you got a good one. It's one of the reasons I'm holding back on buying one until maybe Christmas, when the production line should be better and the faulty ones are all out of retail.

u can tell why some ppl are winning more than others....it's about getting combos and clearing things out yes....but it is also about speed. a lot of ppl don't seem to be slamming things down other than Ian and bosman....which means they get ahead of all the trash. for example blood would of won some if he was just faster but he let the trash pile up.

Im almost salty this got a western release :p I imported a way too expensive jp copy, sure of the fact it wouldn't ever release in the west due to licensing issues between ubisoft and sega. Ow well, at least I'll be able to understand the ingame text now if I'd come around to buying it again. Its a really great game (easily the best tetris since tetris ds imo)
