Creating a sunflower quilling card is a fun and creative project! Here's a simple guide to make one:
Materials Needed:
1. Quilling paper strips (yellow, brown, green)
2. Quilling tool
3. Cardstock or blank card
4. Glue
5. Scissors
Instructions:
1. Begin by quilling the center of the sunflower. Take a brown quilling strip and coil it tightly using the quilling tool to create a small circle. This will be the center of the sunflower.
2. Next, quill the petals. Take yellow quilling strips and coil them loosely to form teardrop shapes. You'll need around 10-12 petals for the sunflower.
3. Glue the petals around the brown coil, arranging them in a circular pattern to resemble the petals of a sunflower.
4. Once the petals are glued in place, quill the stem and leaves of the sunflower using green quilling strips. Create a long, slender coil for the stem and smaller coils for the leaves.
5. Glue the stem and leaves onto the cardstock or blank card.
6. Allow the glue to dry completely before handling the card.
Optional: You can add details to the sunflower, such as small brown coils for the seeds or additional green coils for more leaves.
Your sunflower quilling card is now ready to be gifted or displayed!
