It depends on the yarn size and the knitting needles. I can give you an option you can cast on around 150 for each part (front and back part) with worsted light weight yarn and 3 mm Knitting needles

u should teach how to knit after the 6th row..my stitches has increased after the design and the columns are breaking..

after 6th row you repeat row 1- 6 over and over again you should have the same stitches on 6th row. if it increased in your case please watch the video again

it does little bit actually you have to block it. and you can also knit this stitch without border.

No, Heidi corllier , that means you cast on multiples of 10 First and then at last you add 1 extra stitch and again 2 stitches for edge stitches For example : 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + .............+ 1 + 2 i hope you will get it.
