You are always so generous with sharing your skills and taking the time to explain clearly and in detail. You use Procreate in a unique way and think outside the box so we always learn something new and not covered by other tutorials. Your little sets of tools which accompany each presentation make the process easier and more enjoyable. Very professional results are then achievable. You are very much appreciated. Thank you

You are so kind Patricia 🥰 Your comment means so much to me coz this is exactly what I want to give people, something interesting and fun to make. In this hard time of pandemic many people have to stay home and digital drawing is one of the hobbies they can afford without investing too much. I made all my Gumroad products free, so they can follow along easily without paying anything. And I am always happy to get such sweet feedback and see young artists creating their first pieces after following my tutorials 😊

@Tatyworks3 жыл бұрын
Seems that the problem is in the selection settings. Before you click Select in the layer’s menu, go to selection menu (S icon on top), turn Color fill option off, switch to Automatic and slide to the left to lower the selection threshold. Leave the menu, and after that do all the steps with the layers.

Make sure there are no gaps in the white outlines, also you can draw them on a separate layer, this way only the required shapes will be filled with white but not the whole umbrella

@Tatyworks3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind feedback Monique. Yes, I think it’s in the shape settings. Scatter must be set to none as well as other items in the Shape behavior. If it still doesn’t work, then I can’t tell what the problem is

Please make sure you are on the correct layer and it’s not alpha locked. Also the settings of your liquify tool are the same as mine. Try to tap on the sides from the edge and hold on a couple of seconds, or switch to Push and try to push the edge to the left and to the right with a lower size.

You are not the only one having this problem with the liquify tool... There were a few more comments about that. If you are sure you are on the correct layer, it’s not alpha locked, try to push it from left to right while going along the edge, or switch to Push instead of Expand, lower the size and push the edge to the right here and there
