I love different sizes of beads. I also will bead both sides of the cord in braid places that demand the texture. I love single beads with knots in between the beads like yours. I love texture where my eyes are traveling all over the necklace going ooh and ahh. I will add metal, ceramic, crystal, and any other materials, to do that trick. It is great to design. ❤😊

Oh I agree! I love just taking the materials and going with it 🤩

Hi Samantha, another method is to thread a whole bunch of beads together, lock the end with one of those springs, and once you’re happy with how they’ll look, then do the knots.

Hey Samantha! Love your "Bead Soup Treasure Necklace"! I'm going to try one with 2 different colors of cording and using beads with larger holes so both cords will pass through along with small hole beads where only the one cord will go through & knot around.

I love boho necklaces. I haven't done it like this, but I'm anxious to do one. I've crocheted beads on for necklaces using just a single stitch. I also loved your last video doing the wire macrame. Sorry I haven't posted before now. I've been sick and also having to get hubby ready for his surgery day. I'm so happy to hear little Glory is doing so much better. He's such a cutie. I hope you all are doing well.

@samanthalatimer1 I've got a sinus infection from mowing. That will teach me to wear a mask while mowing, but in my defense I hadn't mowed in years. With Grant's upcoming surgery I didn't want him out mowing, it affects his breathing. Thank you.

Thanks very much for the tutorial. I've been beading for 20+ years but have never tried this method. Think I'll give it a try. A quick search says on your side of the pond, trim wisteria twice a year; July/August and January/February. It looks beautiful and worth the maintenance.

Beautiful necklace, thanks so much for the inspiration. I’ve struggled using cord, but think mine is thicker. I thought 1mm would work but it didn’t! Is yours 0.5mm cord? Hope Glory feels better soon x
@samanthalatimer15 ай бұрын
Hi Kate 😊 Yes the red cord is the 0.5mm so it’s easier to thread. The golden brown version I show, is the 1mm cord so I guess it’s all about the holes in the beads 🤗 And thank you 🙏 Glory is feeling miles better
