It seems that in the last patch they increased the difficulty, in the 10th round I can't in any way, I thought I would break the gamepad and my ice, it's easy...There are no words who came up with this.

Yeah, I think so too. The damage and the range and potency of Time and Quake had been nerfed.

Don't do this, use 4 or 5 Firaga with Cloud, using all the blue materia like Magnify, Potency, Swift, HP and MP Heal. Also with Aerith use Radiant Ward and Arcane on top of it ASAP! radiant ward makes you invisible when you cast! The 3rd member should be Barret as tank/healer, put enemy skill on him, put atb assist and the other atb helper materia. Just Watch Red Ghost's video. But yeah, Stop/Quakega has been nerfed! Use Karmic Cowl and the enhanced one on Barret and Cloud!

Solid video. My only advice to anyone struggling is to just be patient and keep trying. It took me several attempts, getting to the tonberry and getting absolutely decimated, before I finally got it.

Why did they make it so you can't just re-attempt the round you die in, instead of having to restart the whole 10 rounds? This kind of mechanic makes players quit.

Round five is where I keep hitting a brick wall. I find using Yuffie and using Doppelganger and arcane Wars so I can quadruple Quaga and double up on comet very useful.

Round 9 didn't go at all like I had hoped and was wiped out by that damn Adamantoise with some kind of comet attack that's wicked lame! Oh well back to square one!

It's round 10 that killed me constantly. I'm currently trying to do bonds of friendship, but that's crippling me round 9 every time

I got through the previous three fights with cloud aerith and barret with arcane ward on cloud and magnify swiftcast and the magic attacker boost with petrify but I don't like this fight. I can if I'm lucky get to round 5 but I feel if you don't finish fast you have no chance. That third magnify would be so nice right now. I did switch cloud for yuffie for the doppleganger 4x quake but it's just too tedious. Cloud is just better for this I think

This fight is straight bullshit. Followed this guide but after 50 attempts only managed to beat it once but forgot to save. Tonberry king still attacks with something that binds cloud even when he is stopped. Its fucking bullshit im bout to throw my controller at the tv!

@@GoAwayImGaming Yes the one time I beat it Tonberry King didnt use that attack to bind me. You just have to get lucky which sucks because it takes 9 rounds just to get to these guys. ughhh

This is a terrible strategy. At least at this point. It won't even let me magnify Stop. Only haste and slow.

Is the specific orb of Time material that you have linked to Magnify at Max level? Even with multiple Time materias slotted in and linked to the various blue materias for the various buffs, you still need to have a maxed out Time material linked to Magnify on order to magnify Stop(you get Stop with maxed out Time materia)
