And now imagine cutting the cake, its gonna be super hard because of the chocolate underneath the sheet.. Just place the sheet directly on the cake, and you'll have no issues.

It's a very thin layer of chocolate and gets cut very easily. Try out once. The chocolate underneath prevents condensation in the top edible sheet hereby preventing it from gttn glossy and wet.
