Did this a bunch last night and it was working perfectly still. A few things: For MW2/3 event camos, you need to have all the Military camos unlocked on the receiving gun, for either MP/ZM/WZ. Just make sure you have all of 1 mode’s military camos done before attempting to swap any non-mastery camo. So for event camos, instead of spamming X/Square when you make the blueprint and are on the camo page, hit LB/L1 to go to the “all camos” section, hit A/X to go into “All camos” (or whatever category you want, like Brushstroke or Event for example, but All Camos is the easiest since it’s first), THEN hit X/Square ONCE and scroll around so the model updates. Then you can take your time to check whatever event or normal MW2/3 camo you want, but when you select it, it will confirm your choice and kick you back to the military camo screen, so if you want to check a few out just cycle through them and don’t hit A/X unless it’s the one you want for certain, otherwise you gotta redo the glitch. Change an attachment, reticle, sticker, etc. to update the blueprint so the camo locks.

@@dougbeardsley110 i do not know if it’s possible since the “undo change” button, which replaces the pistol with the overkilled primary, wouldn’t affect the melee slot at all. There’s probably a similar glitch so just keep your eyes peeled on KZbin

I can get the MW3 115 camo to stick and transfer to multiplayer, but I can’t get molten obsidian to appear in multiplayer. The gun shows up blank in multiplayer but in warzone the camo works and I have no clue why lol. Sucks because it looks so nice and I mainly play multiplayer

@iraqqed did u swap an attachment or reticle/charm to make it stick? It may only work in WZ on that single class, and if you tried to equip it elsewhere without sticking it might just wipe it off. I got Borealis, event camos, Interstellar, and the preorder camo to stick, but haven’t tried to get One Trick or any of the other prestige camos

The sad part about this is we should NOT have to go through all this shit to be able to use previous camos!! Specially when they said we’d be able to use them on BO6 guns before it even released!! I have the gold cheetah camo that cost me $100 from the online COD merch store and it should be able to be used on ANY cod game!! This is fuckin bullshit!!

Yes, you can equip it as long as you finish the military camo on BO6 guns.

and you have to be quicker when doing it for specials because you have to click on special camos tab then spam x or square. so it’s a extra 1-2 steps in the short time you have to do the glitch

@MoreEakr I was able to figure it out on my own. It's the same steps, only with melee weapons instead. For example, you do all the steps with overkill and gunfighter, only instead of equipping a mw2/3 gun, you'd make a class for a mw2/3 melee weapon, and continue to camos as you would with your gun
