Easy Chanar Cake Recipe in Bengali | Eggless Cheese Cake Without Oven | Chana Poda Shampa's Kitchen

Here is famous sweet Chana Poda or Chanar Cake recipe in Bengali. It is also known as Chhena Poda or Chena Cake.
Ingredients Chana Poda :
Milk - 1 litre
Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Water - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Sooji / Semolina - 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew Nuts
Raisins
Methods of how to make Chanar Cake:
1. At first take 1 liter Milk in a pan and start boiling on high flame
2. Meanwhile to make chana, take 2 tbsp. Vinegar
3. You can also use Lime juice instead add 3 tbsp. Water in the Vinegar and mix
4. When the Milk starts boiling turn off your oven and. pour the Vinegar and Water mixture slowly in it. Stir it continuously to make chana. strain the water out.
5. Now put a strainer on a bowl and pour the chana in it.
6. No need for a cotton cloth to strain the water.
7. No need to hang to strain water.
8. Put it in a separate plate.
9. Now mash the Chana for 1 min with a spoon so there are no lumps in it.
10. Now add 2 tbsp. Suji/Semolina, 1/2 cup Sugar (as per taste).
11. Mix them properly with Chana for about 7-8 mins.
12. The texture should be like this. Add 1 tbsp. Ghee and mix properly again.
13. After mixing cover and let it rest for 15 mins.
14. Take a 6 inch Cake Tin and brush ghee in all the edges.
15. Place a Butter Paper in it and brush ghee over it.
16. After 15 mins add some Chopped Cashew Nuts, Raisins, 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder, Crushed Cardamom Seeds.
17. As suji soaked the water from it add 1 tbsp. Chana Water.
18. Again, mix everything properly and move onto next step.
19. Put the mixture in the cake tin.
20. Spread evenly and smoothen the top.
21. Take a Pan add a large amount of salt in it and preheat for 5 mins on high flame.
22. Place a metal stand in it carefully and place the cake tin on the stand.
23. Cover with a lid and bake for 40-45 mins on medium flame.
24. Cover the holes on the lid
25. After 45 mins take it out, let it cool down and then demold.
26. After it cools down take knife and cut through the edges.
27. Place a plate on top, turn upside down and tap and it will come out easil
28. Now your Famous Odisha Sweet Chena Poda or Chanar Cake is ready.
