Hi Rachel! I loved this video! I have been a subscriber for a few months now and I want to thank you so much because you have taught me everything I know about polymer clay and UV resin! You are seriously one of my favorite KZbinrs and the fact that you are a teacher AND you still find time to put videos up on your channel is amazing! Quick question: What brand of UV resin do you use? Thanks!🤗
@creativerachy Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I’m so glad to here that I have been able to help you learn as you get into polymer clay! In terms of UV resin for glaze, I’m not too fussed about which brand I use! I’m currently using up some bottles from Sophie & Toffee as I receive them in a monthly craft kit. Generally I find any type works well (hard, for molds etc.) although I do avoid the soft type which is designed to be soft and flexible.

Hi Rachel! I am a beginner, and I am having a darndest time even making the simplest of things. I'm using air dry modeling, plague by craft, smart, and my hands end up very chalky, and I think that might be part of my problem.. do you have any advice on which I should start with? I just wanna make a cute puppy head or something.

Try cold porcelain clay or polymer

Hi! I am planning to do a mobile game with Pixel art. I am just at the beginning. I cant Pixel and I also cant program well enough :D right now I am trying to pixel a dinosaur that is based on your chubby stegosaurus that might be the main character and wanted to ask, if you're okay with that. It will probably look a bit different but I still wanted to ask :)

Also - it is NOT that easy.. .she has conditioned her clay PERFECTLY such that is super pliable yet still workable... good luck trying to get the same results as a beginner... I tried... and moved on.
@creativerachy Жыл бұрын
It’s true, you do need to condition your clay before working! The purpose of this particular video is more focusing on how to shape and create different designs rather than preparing the clay from the packet. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t find this video as helpful as you had hoped! Keep trying as it can take lots of practise even with designs considered “simple” 😊

@@lt7592buy a clay conditioner. It works on completely brittle dried up ones too.
