Try Martyr with Captain Marvel. Assuming you play Martyr first, at the end of the game her code to lose the game will kick in first. Then CM's will kick in, which will correct her move if it can. So you've got very versatile 8 power on auto

Would Martyr be more playable if it were: At the end of each turn, move to a location that LOSES you the game. (if possible)? In a way, it tries to make you lose priority at the end of each turn. Kinda like a conditional Ghost.

Her effect isn't the bad thing. The fact that she has as much power as an ant man or a hawkeye is the bad thing Her originally leaked version (*edit:2/6* iirc) was better because at least it was above the current ceiling for the cost

I am using her in the Kang + Strong Guy deck you posted recently over Echo. Nothing to lock down Martyr, and so far she hasn’t moved a single time. Played all evening. Climbed Infinite rank top 20k to top 10k. Martyr into Adam Warlock is some nice early game draw.

I feel like the only combo for martyr that would make her feel not mediocre would be 1 martyr 2 viper 3 magik 4 wong 5 Mystique (plus a 1 or 2 drop?) And then either onslaught 6 or odin 7 with hazmat and Luke cage on the other turn (plus another 1, 2 or 3 drop).

I mean Martyr has a similar problem to Titania, and a similar solution in Zero. That being the case, Titania is then better being a 1/5. That said, she is a good early 4 to pad Knull in a destruction setup.

Cost: 1 Power: 4 or -1 After each turn this card moves to a location that loses you priority (if possible) Possible addition to this if it is a -1 power card...gains X power each time it moves...I think 1 power would be the most it would be able to gain each turn, at most it could be a 1/4 or 1/5 if it started at -1 Thoughts?

I think folks might actually be underestimating the psychological effects Martyr is having on the opposition. Unless you, as the person playing her, makes a mistake, you're never going to try to create a situation where she screws you over. Meanwhile, your opponent is relying on her coming back to bite you and playing poorly due to it. It's created this weird effect where the deck is sitting at a surprising win rate, but she feels entirely cuttable from the deck. I haven't lost today with a deck that should definitely be underperforming what it is.

Definitely not. If you clog your opponent enough Martyr won't move, which defeats the point. Even if you don't clog your opponent though, and Martyr moves somewhere that loses them the game, they would've lost without the Martyr anyway. You're better off just sending over some low power junk instead (eg. A rock, The Hood, Black Widow, ect.)

The name plate lights up when you have it. If you're currently winning on board then you get priority, although cards like ghost can override that. I'm not sure if straight ties are fully random, but you can at least tell what it decided via the nameplates glowing.

Her being a one cost just kinda ruined the card. 1 costs cards are already over saturated with extremely good cards. If kill monger wasn't a thing oops all one drop would be a viable deck and it wouldn't run martyr. She has less power than Tatiana an also not great card but at least her mechanic can be used to gain advantage.
