Easy Craft for Kids: Contact Paper Suncatchers

Learn how to make this super easy suncatcher!
You'll need:
•Transparent contact paper
•Scissors
•Marker
•Colored tissue paper
•Paper plate
•Hole punch
•String or pipe cleaner
•Beads (optional)
Tips:
•Contact Paper is also called "Sticky Back Plastic." Find it with the shelf liner paper at the grocery or drugstore.
•When cutting out contact paper, cut about a half inch wider beyond the line.
Directions:
1. Cut a frame out of a paper plate and place contact paper on the inside.
2. Cut or tear your colored tissue paper into smaller pieces
3. Create any design you like on the sticky surface- it may be abstract, shapes, patterns, or pictures.
4. You may also draw on the colored tissue paper or add other materials (feathers. sequins, lace).
5. Try using other materials aside from colored tissue paper such as leaves, petals, or colored films!
