I have been crocheting for more than 50 years. This is a new stitch for me and you know how they say how hard it is to teach us old folks new tricks .. this young lady does an outstanding job of teaching very thoroughly. Thank you dear for being so patient and allowing those of us who needed to stay with you or to catch up to have such an easy time learning as I'm sure the young bloods here have found you to be a very good teacher. God bless you! You do beautiful work.

Finally finished my blanket, Yay! It is truly beautiful and even though the yarn is lightweight, the pattern definitley gives it weight and thickness. If anyone is thinking of leaving the boarder with the straight edge only, I highly suggest finishing it as the tutorial shows. It gives it a little pom pom effect. Thank you for posting your work.

This blanket is so beautiful! I’m on row 10, but only making less than half the size, just to learn it before I get into the actual blanket. I don’t know if I’d call it easy, especially at first, but I do love it! You are a wonderful teacher and I love every project I have done from your patterns. I am gonna do the lady bug slippers next...I can’t wait!!! Thanks again for your step by step tutorials. I have learned so much!!

It must be me. I'm finding it very hard to follow the first row of arrows because I'm not finding your instructions very clear. I am very experienced at crochet projects. I think it would help if you would say before each section - We are going to join up a double and a triple crochet together, or give a better explanation of what it is you are going to do, at each stage. I'm going to persevere some more, but if I can't follow it better soon, I'm giving up. I don't mean to be critical but if I'm struggling to understand, then I know others will be too. And it looks such a, beautiful pattern/blanket. I hope the feedback helps - and an still grateful that you've shared this lovely item - even if the instructions don't work for me. 🙏❤️🙏

Just for those who end up confused on the 4th round of the border, not landing on a single crochet in the last loop before the corner loop: This has nothing to do with odd or even amount of loops. This lovely lady explains everything correctly. Here’s where I went wrong: At the end of the 2nd round the last single crochet goes into the first loop of the 1st round, NOT the first loop of the 2nd round. Hope this helps.

@@smw5518 yes. I took it back to round 2 of border . I had to add an extra spot on all four sides. I am seeing a lot of pictures on Facebook of blankets people have made using your pattern. You are able to teach a lot of people. Well done. I only have 1complaint. I keep starting your blankets then I see another of your videos and I want to start another one lol. Your work is so beautiful. I can’t wait to start your catapillar.

My blanket turned out beautiful! I do crochet a little tighter than you and had to add a few more rows. I made mine pink with white border. I then added a white rose with a pink pearl in the middle for one of the corners. Also made cardigan and hat in white with pink roses. Thanks so much for your video!

How did adding extra rows effect your border counts? Did it mess up the “extra”stitches added?

Started watching your video now 22H42. Have to start my 12 hour shift (for 7 days) in a few hours , but I am so tempted to start crocheting this blanket. I can just imagine how beautiful this would also be for my elderly residents. A beautiful gift as we are in lockdown and they have not seen their families in months😢

Love the way it looks, people think I worked very hard to make it, but it was so much fun, in no time it was done!
