In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet these easy to crochet baby girl booties or shoes that match the Crochet baby cardigan sweater jacket that I showed you how to crochet a few weeks ago. These baby booties are very easy to crochet and you can easily make them bigger or smaller for newborn by just changing your hook size as mentioned in the tutorial. I used about 15 grams of baby yarn #3 for each bootie.

Hi! I made one of these booties last night using a 2 mm hook and Baby Bee Sweet Delight #3 yarn from Hobby Lobby. It turned out HUGE! I can’t see well enough to use a smaller hook. If I started with a chain of 6, and then added the extra 3 chains to that, do you think I could make it work? Also, where did you find those crochet hooks? I had some given to me by a friend, but she didn’t have the whole set, and I’d like to have a complete set.

Hi Sara, do you have this written down anywhere? I would love to have a hard copy so that I can do my shoes again. I’m doing this as a test pattern and then I want to do some for my granddaughter‘s baby pictures. It will be her first baby pictures and she’s going to be wearing a bright red tutu dress. Check out the row before. Maybe you have too many or too little stitches for correct count. If you’re off by 1-2 stitches it’s ok or just adjust accordingly. Good luck 👍
