Just skimming the video before I start the project. I’ll definitely have to look up how to do a couple of these stitches separately but I don’t mind. Perfect pace for me as an intermediate crocheter and I enjoy the quick cuts bcuz it’s easier to pause to follow you rather than skip through 30min of you crocheting. It looks beautiful and I’m excited to start tomorrow.

Hi, following along really well just puzzled with final row. You saw do 7 double crochet, picot then 6 double picot on the other side. Why are the sides not equal?
@WYLDSOL3 ай бұрын
the picot stitch is done on top of the 7th double crochet because in total there are 13 dc, so the middle stitch is the 7th dc. Otherwise the picot st would be off-center 🤓
@selfraisingsugar8987 ай бұрын
I’m not sure what to do on row 8.. so you dc 5, chain 5 then dc 5 again in each hole? It looks really bunched up and not right. Can’t figure it out
@WYLDSOL7 ай бұрын
5 DC, ch 6, 5 DC in each chain space. This creates a shell stitch with a picot. It shouldn’t be bunching up. If you want some guided help, you can shoot me a message on instagram!

In between the five double crochets did you ch 1??? Because you only did the five double crochets. It’s the very beginning of the round not row, and then the second set of 5dc (twice)did you single crochet one between those two sets. Bc I did not I heard you say it and I kept going back going back going back now. I’m all confused.

Try sizing up your hook. I wouldn’t recommend going bigger than a 5mm (US H) because your stitches may become too loose, but that also depends on your tension. Hope this helps

You can slow down the video yourself. Click on the gear symbol oemr the three dots (usually top right corner) and get to Playback speed. Change it to a slower speed of .75 or even .50.
@WYLDSOL9 ай бұрын
I did this so the file wouldn’t break my computer, also the video would be at least 4 times as long, and I find that would lose people’s attention. I recommend rewatching the regular speed instruction, it’s easy to just rewind 10 or 20 seconds as the instructions just repeat throughout the row. I hope that makes sense/helps.

It’s not even necessary For her to write out the number of stitches. You just follow the video pattern. And she has the rows written on the screen as she says them. You could just write them out as they are shown. But then again you could buy the pattern for a buck 99. I’d say that’s not very much money for a lovely pattern that you could use over and over again.
