Can you make bigger fish? If so how many stiches should I start off with

Erika Beverly Start off with the same amount of stitches but when you get to the part where you join the fish, just keep increasing in each round.

Thank you so much for this video, I get confused with using UK terms and try to switch to USA terms. 1 question : Could you not use a crocheted eye of 4 dc or 4 single for the eyes or sew in some eyes instead. I worry about those plastic eyes when little children put things into their mouths and eyes get loose etc. Are you coming out with a US Term pattern for the No Fuss Fish.

Hey, you can decide for yourself whether you want a plastic eye or just a yarn eye for toys. I use plastic eyes when I make gifts for adults but yarn eyes for toddlers and kids. 😊

Thanks for the pattern. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. There's a lot of "estimate what stitch to go into" and the written pattern is not great. Plus after the eyes not everyone has their first stitch smack dab in the middle of the end of the body.
