I added a 3 ch picot to the top of each petal. (after 2nd dc in 4 dc cluster and after 1st dc in 2 dc cluster). Makes it look even more ruffly.

Love this Flower. The color I used for my flower is Taupe. It goes on the side of a Periwinkle Blue Cloche Hat for my Niece. It is the perfect flower since the hat was done in double crochet too. Thank you.

Thank you for the flower tutorial! I have made several today using this pattern. Some big and some small. I am using three of them on a dress I am making for a six year old little girl in Nairobi, Kenya. She is in an orphanage. My mom visits there often, and this little girl has become my 'adopted' little girl. The dress is pink, and really cute. There will be three flowers that I have made that I am going to attach at the waistline of the dress. Two small-one on each side, and one that is a little bigger in the center. I hope she likes it. I also made a matching doll that is wearing the same dress. Again, thanks for this pattern, and for all of your other tutorials as well. I have learned some really cool stuff by following you.
