Thank you sp much for having a pattern that actually works for people who habe apple shaped bodies. I tried 4 top down patterns and none of them worked that well. I frogged and frogged hours of work and the yarn is now happily and safely worked into this nice sweater. Thank you so so much. ❤

Just finished mine this morning and wore it immediately out for a school run. It is very comfortable and perfect for not so warm May mornings 🥰 thank you so much! I made mine with very soft yarn, lion brand, feels like butta, light gray colour. Very soft, warm enough but not too much. Suggested hooks worked great with this yarn. Thank you ❤

I made this into a 2X cap sleeve vest. I used a #3 yarn and a J hook and followed pattern for yoke and body but went straight to bottom band then tried on. My armholes were about tee shirt length so I left as is without band. Absolutely love it for a summer layer over a tank or tee!❤🎉😊❤

No turning when using variegated yarn, (correct). slip stitch is needed to get to the single crochet hole, here's where my dilemma comes into play. When starting another row I am back where I slipped stitched,. Do I have to continue to slip stitch each time I am starting a new row?

I feel the same way about this tutorial. It’s my first attempt at a sweater and I love the pattern and sleeves. I am currently using just one color but once I accomplish this one, I am excited to try the prism yarn for both my daughter’s sweaters! This by far was the best tutorial I e come across. I liked the hooked by Robin one when I made my first sunflower granny square. She was very good also but this video is giving me the confidence to attempt it!

Amazing work. I went to the website to buy pattern and yarn but I could not. Shipping to Italy is too crazy. It would cost me double. I have done the pattern in a different yarn. It was not easy because the yarn was growing in a different way but it was absolutely gorgeous and my husband (usually not a fan of handmade sweaters) told me it was really lovely on me. I'm a fan of working the sleeves first so they are done in case of a yarn chicken scenario.

Also, when i do raglans I'll finish the sleeves and then work a couple extra sts under the arms when doing the first rnd of the body to close any gaps. Tends to add 4-6 sts to the body, nothing crazy, and avoids any need for sewing. Not sure how that would work with granny st so I'll have to play around with that.

When not turning, you use a SC to connect to the last stitch. The SC is perfect for putting your cluster into before going on around.

if you have wide shoulders, Id suggest making increases either in the very beginning with the collar or later on for the chest/back. by the time i could connect the points at the armpits my armholes were enormous making my sleeves ridiculously big. i ended up putting decreases in every other row for the sleeve so that it would fit my arm just a tiny bit better and take less time.
