Follow this chunky crochet pocket scarf tutorial to stay warm this winter. The stitch pattern is easy and easy to memorize.
The hood is curved at the top and is not pointy. The pockets of this easy crochet pocket scarf is made by simply folding the ends and sewing them in place. It doesn't get easier than that, does it?

I am really sorry, it would be hard for me to estimate the chains as I haven't tried it myself. You might have to make the scarf part first and then calculate from there.
