love this shawl. I've never been good at getting my tension right. any suggestions.
@WarpingAround6 жыл бұрын
Tonya Baccus I have found that more important than finding the right tension, whatever that is, is to keep your tension the same... Whatever it is... Just be consistent first. After that you can try to adjust it to looser or tighter which you should also keep consistent... Does that help?
@1tbaccus6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. what i mean by the tension. is for some reason it doesn't lay right I try to get it lose but it pulls in one spot and to loose in another. I just may be one of those that can't do it.but thank you. I love watching you work.
@Tsiri096 жыл бұрын
I've been crocheting for nearly 50 years (no joke). I learned a long time ago that trying to change my natural hold (tension) for each pattern does not work for me. Instead, if tension is really important for size, then I'll practice with different yarns and hooks or readjust the pattern. With blankets and shawls, I don't bother with pattern tension- I just make it.
@Tsiri096 жыл бұрын
Is this after blocking your work? A lot of work can lay like this before blocking.

Nevermind i just saw the captions. What i wanted to know is can you do a tutorial on their Prayer Shawl. The pattern is CAC0126-011
@barbarabuehler34573 жыл бұрын
Mikey, I was looking at this pattern after I made 7 of these shawls following the video and listening to you as you were crocheting it. You said the repeat rows were rows 6 and 7. Actually if you read the directions all the way, the repeat rows are 7 and 8. And they are different down by the point. Just thought I would let you know that the video you made is wrong.
@TheCrochetCrowd3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I will check my notes as the pattern can change with revisions. Thanks for the heads up.
