How do you end up with 36 stitches between rounds 8 - 12? Because 8 ends with 30 and if I single crochet around for four rounds I still have 30 stitches 😅 sorry new to amigarumi and crochet

I think you can double any pattern to make it bigger

i would suggest using a blanket yarn such as bernat blanket yarn, and an 8 mm crochet hook!

hi! I've been browsing your channel for a few days, wanna try everything :3. REALLY new with crochet. A friend bought me two yarns (not sure the size but it's quite similar to what you're using here) and a 9 mm hook, might be too big??. So i'm lost. I'm not sure if I should attempt this for example or if my yarn would even be enough. I'm thinking I should buy smaller hooks tho for starters. Silly doubts but since I've been stuck I was hoping maybe you'd throw some wisdom at me. Ty in advance.

Please can someone help - by the end of round 10 I've still got 2 stitches left so I've got 32 instead of 30 going into round 11. I think it's because i had to add stitches to round 9 to get to the middle but how on earth do you get it to balance out?

Hi! Adding stitches in round 9 won’t change your stitches for the round, as they go over previous stitches 🙂 if your count is off, you can add a decrease or two in the next few rounds, it shouldn’t make a difference to the overall shape
