*Ribbing for the waist -‌Chain 11 -‌Single crochet back along the chain ‌-single crochet back loop only to fit around the waist -‌Single crochet the ends together to form a circle *Hip part -‌Lay flat with the joined ends in the middle to mark the sides( with stitch markers/ safety pins/ hairpins) that will be the hips ‌-row 1-16: •chain 1 hdc into the same stitch • Hdc till you reach the stitch marker and Inc in the stitch with the stitch marker. • Continue hdc around till you reach the second stitch marker and increase in the stitch marker • Hdc till you reach the end of the row and slip stitch to join Note: this applies to your hip measurements so increase or decrease the rows to fit around your hips -‌row 17: •chain 2 turn •Dc twice in each stitch till you reach the end and slip stitch to join -‌row 18-33: chain 2 dc into every stitch till you reach the end and slip stitch to join

For the half double crochet part with the stitch maker for the ongoing rows would you do one row doing the increase in the stitch after the one you mark and then the next row do it before the stitch you mark or would you do the next row in the stitch that you marked?

It means that for your next next row (after you finish row 2) keep repeating like row 2 by increasing the number of the stitches to make the hip part of the skirt get more bigger or wider.
