I just tried this decrease on the bottom of the bag with the juniper stitch, and it makes a perfect flat bottom to the bag. I've made about 5 bags, adding drawstrings, and straps for carrying, but this is a perfect addition.

I’m using a 76 peg loom to make a beanie, how should I decrease? I divided it into every 19th peg but that just seems like to many pegs in between what do you recommend I do?
@DeborahShaw Жыл бұрын
same way...divide into 4 then two.

@@Sshavonne the same as the video....you have a smaller gauge so the thickness will be the same....
@Sshavonne Жыл бұрын
I’m using diamond lace stitch can I still use that as decreasing? I made a mistake and had to start over and I’m back to doing the decrease, I can’t do every 8 pegs it has to be every 4 pegs
@DeborahShaw Жыл бұрын
its 4 decrease then 2...you can use this decrease with any stitch.

@DeborahShaw Жыл бұрын
Dont know, its a decrease many use and no one else said that.
@alaskanfrogman Жыл бұрын
I like your video. It's very informative except... you keep getting your hat anatomy wrong. You keep calling the top portion "the brim." It is NOT the brim. The Brim is the open end, or the bottom of the hat. The top section that is closed off is correctly called "The Crown," because it sits atop the head like a crown. Please don't be offended or insulted. You are very knowledgeable with the work you do and I have learned quite a bit from watching your videos. I just believe that you should get the anatomy and parts of a hat correctly named to avoid confusion with some of your viewers. I've crocheted hats for many years an learned about what the hat pieces are called. I hope you don't mind my pointing this error out to you. Again, thank you for your very informative video.
@DeborahShaw Жыл бұрын
yes and i did say in the description that i accidently did that. Just scroll down to see it. i am not going to replace the video. i explained in the description and it clearly shows a bind off. That should be enough.
