Yeah, that would be cool and all, but I think a glow in the dark blue could *really* sell the Tesseract effect (it is a glowing blue cube, after all!)

whiter lighters, a little more blue, slightly bigger mold, and a bit less glitter (as much as it breaks my heart to say that), and you've got yourself a bonafide tessaract. i don't do resin, but this looks like one I could actually do some day!

Use cold LED lights next time, the warm ones "equalizes" the blue from the resin and looks a lot washed out.

you can also dribble the resin down the side of your stirrer or other small stick/rood for precise placement of resin

I used these lights in my travel trailer, i connected sets together, enough to go all the way around a room in the upper corner of the celling, then i used a 6V power supply, i did this in every room, it worked great.

I like how you save the leftover resin. Doug from Pohl Barn Productions pours his leftover resin into gummy bear moulds. He once made a lamp from his gummy bears. He had all different colours. I liked your little lamp. It was really cool. Lol. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺

Nice work. Turned out very well but I wonder if you can do or if anybody can do a Pinecone with the LED lights in resin the blue turned out very well glitter was very nice and I have been doing some experimenting with extracting my own ink from markers with rubbing alcohol and mixing very small amounts that into my resin

@@BensWorx if you do try it just try and get that mix perfectly cuz a little piece I made I put way too much in there and somehow it turned like a brownish green color somehow but I can't wait to show off my first pine cone resin casting it took me forever to get a plastic off the resin casting I'm going to post a picture or video of it on Instagram and then possibly make a video on here. Can't wait for you to see it

Question Ben why don't you try to work out the volume o the mold before mixing the resin to make sure you don't overfill or under-fill it? My guess would be putting the mold on a scale and filling it with water, as water is almost 1:1 ratio of ml to grams.

It would probably be cheaper to buy one if a reusable silicone mold is what your after, if not 1mm acrylic will also work and you can glue the sides together with a hot glue gun

no need to.. i ve tried making this.. but since i left some of the wire out, it broken because i keep rotating the cube, so the wire also keep bending in every direction and end up break at the very edge of the cube . perhaps u can put the wire deeper and what's left is the cable?
