I absolutely love your work. And agree with so many others that you made it easy to understand even though they look complicated. Sitting on my bed practicing these shoes.😉 but wat did you use for the pattern for the soul of the shoes? Or did you just quickly sketch one out
@DIYIsMyHappyPlace3 жыл бұрын
I sketched one out, but I’m excited to report that I’m going to do a follow up tutorial next week with new free printable patterns for Gnome shoes and what I believe is even an easier technique. I’m going to test it out on my husband during a live stream next Thursday. Sometimes I make so many of one thing that I lose track of what I should be explaining so hopefully during a live folks can ask questions as I go, or my husband can ask clarifying questions since it will be his first time making the shoes. 👟

Sometimes they get sold out at Dollar Tree. I have found that they are not a one and done item like some things sold at The Dollar Tree. Eventually they will become available soon hopefully.

You can order eggs from Amazon or orientaltrading company year round, or you can use cups. Here’s a tutorial showing the cup option: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZe9o6qFqat9n7s

Where do u get the connector u put in the shoes. I've been trying so hard to make a pair, but it's very hard for me. I find your very fast in the video, and I don't know how to get a clean front of the shoes. It has taken me 5 hrs to try and make with pair with no luck. I'm wondering if you could send me a pair to canada and will pay u for your time and shipping

Also I get the connectors from yard stick straws I pick up from the dollar Tree. There are also straws that have connectors at Amazon. In will try and get a link. I can mail you some connectors if you would like me to. I’m so sorry for your frustration.

Yes could u mail me some connextors. I'm in canada, though. I'm going to try with foam. I watched your foam video, and it looks so much easier then felt

I made my first pair of shoes and ... they were a disappointment. The shoe itself looks okay, but the trim is an absolute mess. I wish I could show you a picture so you could tell me where I went wrong.
