Love!!! You're so talented. Just a side note for you and your viewers, (I had a candle company for 10 years, so I speak from experience). Because you used "container wax", you will need a bowl or container under your candles when you burn them, as they will completely solidify. If you want them to stand alone, you will need to melt down taper or pillar candles for this project.

I just paid $52 for 2 IOD silicone molds. I was going to try a much more complicated method for mold making. Now the possibilities are endless for making my own. You Rock Kelly!!!

I dust moldings on lots of things with corn starch and pipe my silicone right of top. Smooth out and let dry. Then I use paper clay to made a replacement piece of molding etc on mirrors, dressers etc. You can also use resin for your part your replacing. These candles though..my my! Another goodies to fit into my rotation! Love me some Kelly magic 🥰🥰🥰😊🥰🥰🥰

Kelly you are such a delight. Thanks for this video. I have done this with my older grandkids and its a hit. How do your burn. My grandkids live far away so I never got to see that. Do they Drip or burn well? Just wondered. In fact I found out the grandkids have never burned theirs. Thank you lovely lady you are so fun to watch. You can use rubber bands to hold mold together when you cut silt. I also used a zip zag cut to help the reseal. Take care. Hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙

What a wonderful present to receive! Also to give an actual mason jar of wax melts in the same scent would complete the gift.

As someone who watches a million mold videos, you did a great job they came out super neat. If i can give you one tip? The slit normally should be jagged and then you can use a couple elastics. The jagged edge makes it line up better

This is so great! My 15 year old daughter learned how to mold dice. She bought special silicone to mold the dice, then cast resin to make her own dice. It was a lot of work and hard to do. Love this idea better. Use inexpensive, easy to get silicone and make candles. Yes!
@sarahcope12803 жыл бұрын
Ok....if you use them what keeps them from melting all over the place? But......Soooooooo Cute!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

That's the same thing I'm wondering. I was searching the comments to see if anyone else had my same concerns and was hoping for Kelly or someone else to reply back about it... I'm assuming it would have to sit in a bowl of some sort. I really don't know tho for sure. Thank you for bringing it up tho...

I place wick before I pour....I always put a nut or washer on end of wick so it will stay at bottom of candle...if not weighed down it will float up or sideways and cause an irregular burn....I however have never made a mold of any kind....great job...I'm a huge Mason jar fan so I think I might have to try this....thanksnso much....I just love your enthusiasm.

I don't know if this would work but it should. When my decor candles become dusty (living in the desert) I use an old pair of pantyhose like a glove and sort of "polish" the candle. It might work well to sort of "sand" off the bumps and ridges. Definitely trying this diy. Tfs.
