For everyone wondering about the math, her waist is 67, not 60. So just divide the waist by 1.57 (which is pi divided by 2) when working in centimeters.

So is it pi ÷ 2 because it's a quarter circle? I heard a half circle is your waist measurement ÷ pie. So that would mean a full circle is waist ÷ 6.28, correct? This gives you the proper radius?

It's a circle skirt..but she cut it on straight grain...can anyone enlighten me on this?

As I understood it........if you want it on the straight grain. You do a pattern using her instructions then place it on the fabric on the straight grain. It's what I've done and it worked

For the math portion: 1. (Your waist circumference) = 2 x Pi x radius divided by 4 the two cancels out and you are left with 2 instead of 4, 2. (Your waist circumference) = 3.14 x radius x 2 then you multiply your waist circumference by 2, 3. (that answer you got up above) = 3.14 x radius then you divide (the answer you got above) with 3.14 Leaving you with the radius. Hope this helps. I suck at math. :)

From what I’ve seen in other videos, if you measure your waist in inches, multiply this number by 4, and then divide by 6.28 to find the radius from the corner of the fabric. If you then draw this quarter circle using the corner as a centre point, then it is an easier way to do the waistline
