These small concrete and wood tables are great for either indoor or outdoor use. They are a great beginner project to get into concrete slabs, and the frame is simple, yet stylish. You can even customize the concrete colour, and wood colours for different looks.

Thanks! Oh absolutely. The only thing is you'll need the center square section, and then the one that attaches to it you'll want one on each end instead of in the center for balance is all

This is also coincidentally a plausible bathroom vanity. Do you have any suggestions how to mount this on a wall for "floating shelf" look (i.e no fixings can be seen)? I know IKEA makes little channels inside the shelf which then slide onto metal pipes mounted on the wall. Is there a better way?

Bro can I use bcs plywood to frame a shed instead of osb

OSB is stronger for that type of work, as well as partially weather resistant

Does your concrete have aggregate ( gravel ) or is it just a sand mix. Can you please share what type you used. Thanks mate 😊👍

It has aggregate, yes. I just typically use the basic yellow bagged Quikrete, nothing fancy

It was charcoal liquid pigment from Quikrete

Does your concrete have sand?

All concrete has sand, I think you are referring to cement. Cement is one of the ingredients in concrete, along with sand and rock. What I used is premixed concrete, so it has all the ingredients and ratios, just add water. Hope that helps

How well does the base stay attached when you pick it up and move them around ? I’m wanting to do a coffee buffet table 5’ x 20” x 2.5-3” thick just thinking how to attach to base ?

Depends on the weight of the base. These small tables are fine but a larger base won't be able to be picked up. The big thing is with a larger base is it stops the concrete from being pushed around or off the base. But it will pull up with a bit of effort if you ever want to remove or replace it later

also, being only 1.5 inches do you think it can be made without the wire mesh?

Thanks, glad you like them! You always can make them without reinforcement, but I really wanted to make sure that any seasonal, as well as moisture related movement from being outside in the sun and rain was minimized. It will help prevent curling of the slabs, as well as potential cracking. Good luck on yours! Keep me posted, I'd love to see them when you're done!
