Hi, thank you for your question. Depending on the quality of oil you are using... I usually recommend 5k-7k oil change intervals.

Your oil filter wrench is the wrong size. Next time you use it check to see if the slots on the wrench engage with the tabs on the oil filter cap. If they don't then you'll know I'm right. That wrench works on the 1.8 liter engine but not on larger Toyota built engines. I take that back. It will work only because it fits the flutes at the top of the oil filter cap but the correct wrench would be better cause the slots and tabs would also be engaged. Look up the Motivx MX2320 wrench and notice how it is wider than yours. It's plain to see at 4:02 in your video that the slots and tabs are not engaged.

I've been using that wrench for years and has worked very well on all toyota/ lexus filters. Also, it fits perfectly on Honda 7317 oil filters. Sometimes the honda filters are on tight and this works well to remove it. Thank you for sharing your information.
