Helpful, Thanks! Mine was 2 pin too, but everything worked with it being 2 pin. Blinker is working and I can adjust the mirror from inside my car. They also fold. Edit: I have 2012 Tundra CrewMax Limited.

I agree with Andrew. Everything works but no dimmer. BTW, the mirror should not be hard to detach. If it is, something else is likely wrong. Don't force it. Be very careful. In my case the mirrors had been replaced with non spec flat mirrors. I happen to know that the Toyota dealer did it as part of the negotiation process when I bought my Sequoia used. The dealer mechanic used flat black automotive silicon adhesive when they assembled it. Part of the mount was literally glued to the aftermarket non Sequoia spec replacement. Trial and error, a lot of anxiety and careful prying and cutting to get the factory backing loose. Very happy with the result though.

For some reason it didn’t work in my end until I put oem back in and replaced later with a used oem. I needed the folding to work bc car won’t fit in garage without mirrors folded haha

Thanks for the video. 2 prong aftermarket from 1A auto worked on my 2011 Sequoia platinum. Folding mirrors work, turn signal, defrost, no dimmer.

Probably need an OEM to get all functions to work. I picked up an entire mirror assembly for $70 shipped on eBay. It was cheaper than the aftermarket mirror lol

@@786auditwinturbo Yeah that's probably the way to go! As far as I know there aren't any aftermarket mirrors with the dimmer. ( you may have stated that in your video as well hah)

@@Andrew-rd8kg yeah I sure couldn't find. And the local junkyards wanted an arm and leg for the mirror assembly and wouldn't sell the mirror by itself haha

@@darkcyber456 sometimes you gotta buy the whole mirror which is what I did. Luckily i got a deal at the junk yard for the whole mirror for the price of glass only lol

To remove the mirror? A flat head is best and easiest but if you can get it to get under the mirror then you can use it also

You can take 1 of the 2 then. Which ever is easier for you to get is fine.

it is not the folding option that does not work but the heated defogger function

For me it was the folding. Heated worked as I got the heated one. Put the original damaged one and folding worked. Then replaced with another used original and folding was good
