I used some similar to those on my Ram, but now the suspension is very hard. I put the right shocks after the leveling kit, but the suspension is terrible. How is yours?

Mine has always ridden like a brick. I can't say I noticed any difference after putting them on. But I'm sure it didn't make it any better

Hey i just did the exactly the same with skyjacker spring 2inch lift and now my sway bar touches the pitman arm and i can't bolt it on so what should i do?

U didnt get an adjustable trac bar ? Your front axle is offset to the driver side now and your alignment is off .....just an fyi

I've been planning to try and upgrade it to rack and pinion at some point. I hate how loose the steering gets in these things over time. Driving this and then my Tundra is night and day. I get all used to the rack and pinion on my Tundra and then go back to the sloppy Ram.

Rack and pinion conversion will be a headache in my opinion there's a nut and ball on the top of your steering box you can adjust I got three turns out of mind and got rid of all the play without replacing my steering box

Does that space circumference a Spring and make it a little bit rougher ride arrived? Trying to figure out what to do with mine right now this fucking idiot that I bought my 2500 Dodge comments from must have been ramping it like the dukes a hazard or something, My Spring buckets are tearing off the frame.. I do have double nitrogen Fox nitrogen Fox shocks which is what's holding up the truck right now. But I'm actually thinking about switching over to bags do bags on front and fabricating Some pieces to go under and/or over the bags and I was thinking about using something like that space where you have there possibly you're possibly. I may even do a test thing where I put a smaller Spring on top of the bag or under the bag not sure yet. I am a fabricator and build pitcher cars and stunt cars for a living so I know what I'm doing as far as that part but I'm not quite sure as far as the suspension when it will do to it hopefully it will make it better because it's rougher than shit right now. Figured since the shock's not in the middle the coil anyways why not try a bag

No. There is a separate spring and shock. No strut

Honestly I did it kind of of a weird way in this video. If I was to do it again in the future I would do it differently. I actually ended up taking the spacers out about a year later.

@@bluemen8807 for several reasons. The main one is that every time I had a trailer on it, the truck looked like it was squatting. I'll be doing another video here in the next week or so on the reasons I took them out and the best way to replace them

Yeah I agree with you. That's why I removed them. Although I wouldn't agree with your statement of it being strictly cosmetic. Extra ground clearance has its benefits.

I'm redoing a 96 2nd gen and that was as much of a question as a statement! mostly just worn out parts no rust the clearcoat peeled .I'm stripped down to the frame and motor cab forward its tough figuring out what brand parts and what to upgrade? I understand the extra ground clearance when you need it but for a work truck its just more crawling around getting tools out of the bed!

daniel rodriguez honestly I'm not sure. I got them from a truck I was flipping, and never measured them. I just liked the way they looked. Not sticking out too much. Just perfect. I thought about swapping them if somebody wanted to trade for a set of factory third gen Wheels though

RamVan Bobby when you say coil extenders, I'm assuming you're talking about the spacers in this video. No it will not stiffen the ride in the front. I didn't notice any change with my Ram after installing them. however it does put the front lower control arms at a slightly steeper angle so if anything you might notice a touch difference in the handling / stiffness. thanks for watching, hopefully this helps. RamVan Bobby the yes, coil spacers would cause a stiffer ride on the two wheel drive models I believe. because there is a set distance between the upper and lower control arm that the coil goes between. so adding a spacer would give you increased height in the front however it would cause stiffer suspension as well typically
