Hello everyone! I don't know about you, but I've been OBSESSED with the boho decor trend on Instagram and KZbin. I love the vibes! I created this rug using ALL Dollar Tree products for under $10! It's also a great way to use up any leftover scraps of rope you may have laying around!

Soooo, I followed your tutorial. I was in absolute love with the end result. Loved loved my rug! So did my cats. Do you hear my heavy sigh? My beautiful gorgeous stunning masterpiece was turned into my cat's favorite item to sharpen their claws on. *Insert heavier sigh here*. On the upside I'd long battled with them not to sharpen their claws on my upholstered furniture. They've lost all interest in my furniture now. To note: It's holding up beautifully as their new claw sharpening station.

It definitely looks great, and such a simple method! Of course sewing it together would help it last longer, but if you've got no time (or it's a low traffic area) hot glue's better than nothing.

I love this already and I’m not even finished with the video yet. I recently bought 2 larger rugs like this from Hobby Lobby when they were on sale. One went in my entry way and I hung the other on the wall. It reminded me of one my mother had on the wall as a child. I’m super excited to make one or more of these.
